Mag Ban Warning: 7 Days Left to Comply

Keep Your Mags Intact - Store With Gunsitters or Your FFL

December 3, 2018. The mag ban appeal is still pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, but because compliance time is quickly running out, last week ANJRPC released a 4-page guide for gun owners to comply with the ban by its mandated deadline of December 10, 2018. The mag ban lawsuit will continue after the deadline, and we believe it will eventually prevail, but gun owners face serious criminal penalties if they do not comply with the mag ban by December 10, 2018.
View or download copies of the guide here. Please spread the word to other gun owners!
The guide reveals (among other things) non-obvious, lawful methods to continue owning magazines that hold between 11 and 15 rounds without modifying them, in addition to covering the conventional compliance options under the mag ban.
For example, if you want to continue owning unmodified 11-15 round magazines, Gunsitters, LLC ( has received pre-approval from the NJ State Police to lawfully store magazines through its affiliated licensed gun dealers at the rate of $1.25 per month per magazine, but the magazines must be properly transferred so they are received by December 10, 2018. Gunsitters will also donate 25 cents of each magazine's monthly storage fee toward ANJRPC's mag ban lawsuit. Gunsitters has specific requirements which can be viewed at, or by contacting Gunsitters directly at or 973-610-8600. Please see pp 3-4 of ANJRPC's guide here for additional details.
Any licensed gun dealer can store your magazines for you -- they just need to be willing, organized, and have appropriate facilities to store magazines.
Please carefully review ANJRPC's guide here for a complete overview of all of your options under the mag ban law. And please spread the word to your fellow gun owners ASAP.
