PASSES SENATE COMMITTEE

June 13, 2022. This morning, industry-killer legislation S-1893 passed in the NJ Senate Judiciary Committee in a partisan vote. It was stated that potential amendments to the bill to address various concerns were under consideration with the NJ Attorney General and that the bill could still be amended at a later stage of the legislative process. We have heard such statements many times in the past on other legislation, and while actual changes post-committee are usually rare, we will continue to pursue the issue as the bills moves through the legislative process.
