CARRY-KILLER BILL
PASSES IN SENATE

December 19, 2022. Earlier today, carry-killer bill A4769 / S3214 passed the New Jersey Senate along party lines after an impassioned debate. This was the last stop for this legislation before it reaches the governor's desk.

"This legislation is a big middle finger to the U.S. Supreme Court on right to carry," said ANJRPC Executive Director Scott Bach. "Since New Jersey can no longer block the issuance of carry permits to honest citizens, the state has instead turned to blocking carry itself in most common public places. which blatantly violates the Second Amendment. This legislation will go down in flames in court if it is signed by the governor."
