Carry-Killer Bill Passes in Assembly

CARRY-KILLER LEGISLATION
PASSES IN FULL ASSEMBLY

November 21, 2022. Today, carry-killer bill A4769 passed in the full Assembly in a party-line vote. The vote followed several hours of highly charged debate during which numerous republicans passionately defended right-to-carry and the Second Amendment. The debate is well worth watching and can be viewed by clicking here and scrolling approximately to the 6:45 mark.

The legislation still needs to clear the Senate to make it to the governor's desk. At the time this alert was written, that is not likely to occur before the middle of December.

Please watch for further updates and alerts, and be prepared to take further action to defeat this legislation as it progresses in the Senate.
