24 States Ask Supremes To Hear NJ Mag Ban Case!

24 STATES ASK THE US SUPREME COURT
TO HEAR ANJRPC MAGAZINE BAN APPEAL!
May 28, 2021.  The attorneys general of 24 states have collectively filed a "friend of the court" brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to take up ANJRPC's magazine ban appeal.  See a copy of their joint brief by clicking here.

The brief argues that the middle-level federal appeals that upheld New Jersey's magazine ban applied the wrong legal standard, violated Supreme Court precedent, and that the magazine ban itself is unconstitutional.

The states supporting ANJRPC's case are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

The Supreme Court is not likely to decide whether it will agree to hear ANJRPC's magazine ban case until this Fall at earliest.
