TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO COMPLY
WITH MURPHY'S MAGAZINE BAN

Mag Ban Begins at Midnight Tonight

Keep Your Mags Intact - Store With Gunsitters or Your FFL

Or Surrender, Permanently Modify, or Permanently Transfer

Lawsuit to Continue

December 10, 2018. Today is the last day for gun owners to comply with Gov. Phil Murphy's mag ban, which goes into effect at midnight tonight. The mag ban lawsuit will continue after the law goes into effect, and while we believe we will eventually prevail, gun owners face serious criminal penalties if they do not comply with the mag ban before midnight tonight.

Late last month, ANJRPC released a 4-page guide for gun owners to comply with the ban by the deadline. Failure to comply is serious and could result in fines, imprisonment, and loss of gun rights nationwide. View or download copies of the guide here. Please spread the word to other gun owners!

The guide reveals (among other things) non-obvious, lawful methods to continue owning magazines that hold between 11 and 15 rounds without modifying them, in addition to covering the conventional compliance options under the mag ban (including voluntary surrender, rendering magazines inoperable, permanent modification of magazines, and lawful sale or transfer).

If you want to continue owning unmodified 11-15 round magazines, Gunsitters, LLC (www.gunsitters.com) has received pre-approval from the NJ State Police to lawfully store unloaded magazines through its affiliated licensed gun dealers at the rate of $1.25 per month per magazine, but the unloaded magazines must be properly shipped. Gunsitters will also donate 25 cents of each magazine's monthly storage fee toward ANJRPC's mag ban lawsuit. Gunsitters has specific requirements (including mandatory shipping of unloaded magazines rather than in-person delivery) which can be viewed at www.njmagban.com, or by contacting Gunsitters directly at storage@gunsitters.com or 973-610-8600. Please see pp 3-4 of ANJRPC's guide here for additional details.

Any licensed gun dealer can store your magazines for you -- they need to be willing, organized, and have appropriate facilities to store magazines.

Please carefully review ANJRPC's guide here for a complete overview of all of your options under the mag ban law. And please spread the word to your fellow gun owners ASAP.
