brings home National Honors!
New Jersey
resident, PPC State Chairperson and club member Robert W. de Myer, Jr.
recently traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico to compete in the 44th
Annual National Police Shooting Championship held over four days from
October 2nd thru October 5th. With over 330 National
and world wide competitors, competing in this event.
On day one of the Nationals, Robert de Myer competed in the 1500
Revolver match and became the Best Master shooter in the World with a
revolver, beating out 90 other competitors in his class as well as
approximately 210 other competitors participating in this match, he posted
a score of 1482-93X out of a possible 1500 points.
On day three of the Nationals were to be Robert de Myer’s
crowning victory. Once all the scores were posted between the 1500
revolver match and the 1500 semi-auto match, it was announced that Robert
de Myer would be crowned as the Best County/Provincial Shooter in the
World. Scoring a 2947-168X out of a possible 3000 points. Robert de Myer
bested over 100 other competitors from around the nation and five other
countries in order to win this National Title.
When speaking
to retired New Jersey PPC State Chairperson Alex Picart, he stated that a
New Jersey Shooter has not won the Overall Master award at the Nationals
in 17years and the Overall County/ Provincial Shooter Award in 21 years.
Robert de
Myer would like to invite any and all shooters to participate in the New
Jersey PPC matches held at the Cherry Ridge Range. You need not be a Law
Enforcement Officer to compete in New Jersey. Robert de Myer can be
