NRA Day Exhibit at Tuckerton

To complement the August 9 NRA Day at Salem County, the Barnegat Bay Friends of NRA held an NRA Day Exhibit at the Tuckerton Seaport in the Hunting Shanty. The exhibit was hosted by committee member Forest D. Stiles.

The free event ran from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a Women on Target video and four tables of items on display. Visitors could review NRA magazines, pins, videos, training courses and range items, and go home loaded down with free publications of just about everything the NRA puts into print.

Visitors at the Seaport were welcomed by the Friends of NRA banner as well as the NRA Foundation banner and the ANJRPC Promoting Firearms Safety banner. The event was covered by the Tuckerton Beacon and The Press of Atlantic City.

Special thanks go to Peggy Bodner (Hodgkiss) of the ANJRPC for sending brochures and the Association’s banner; to Barnegat Bay FNRA committee member George Kurtz, President of the Tuckertown Seaport, for his help and public support of the NRA; Jamie Gordon, RSO, for her help with the four table coverings; and to Vincent Protano for his help and moral support throughout the event. The exhibit was well received and made the front page of the Tuckerton Beacon, giving the NRA a very favorable presence in the local area
