Regional State Championship
Schwartzkopf wins again!
On Saturday and Sunday May 20th
and 21st the NRA New Jersey Police Pistol Regional State Championships
were held at the ANJRPC Cherry Ridge Range in New Jersey. Thirty shooters
from all around the State and surrounding states were in attendance.
Officer Robert Schwartzkopf from New Jersey became the New Jersey
Regional State Champion. He was also the Overall Match Winner with a
combined score of 2906-134X. Officer Robert Vlastelica of New York placed
second overall scoring a 2902-132X. Officer Conway Reivers also of New
York placed third in the overall with a score of 2884-121X.
In the revolver division Officer Robert
de Myer was the Overall 1500 Revolver winner scoring a 1473-80X. Officer
Robert Schwartzkopf placed 1st in the Master class scoring a 1463-71X.
Officer John Brown placed 1st in the Expert Class scoring a
1446-73X. Officer Sal Matos placed 1st in the Sharpshooter
Class with a 1414-49X. Officer Doug Johnson placed 1st in the
Marksman Class with a 1382-49X. Officer Beth Tagliabue placed 1st
in the Classified Class with a 1315-35X.
In the semi-auto division Officer Robert Vlastelica was the
Overall 1500 Semi-Auto winner with a 1456-66X. Officer Robert Schwartzkopf
placed 1st in the Expert class with a 1437-63X. Officer Conway
Reivers placed 1st in the Sharpshooter Class with a 1418-48X.
Officer Ralph Velez placed 1st in the Marksman class with a
1403-35X. Officer Harry Foltz placed 1st in the classified
class with a 1346-38X. Finally Officer Matt McCurry placed 1st
in the unclassified class with a 984-16X.
Officers de Myer and Jones
from New Jersey teamed up and won the two-man team event with a1143-51X.
Officer Robert de Myer claimed both Distinguished Service matches scoring
a 586-30X for the revolver and a 583-30X for the Semi-Auto.
